Kris
Thomas is
a drummer/percussionist, engineer, and producer. His
studio, Majestic Music Productions has
mixed and mastered recordings for Willie Nelson
and the Planetary Bandits, The Willie
K Band, The Celtic Tigers, music for the video
game "Sims 2" and much more. He
plays on the Erik James CD entitled Down
side up recorded in Los Angeles, and appeared
on the debut CD by The Barefoot Natives featuring
Uncle Willie K and Eric Gilliom.
In 2009
Kris occasionally played percussion
with legendary drummer, Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac.
Doing extensive work with his new projects, The Island
rumours band and The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band.
He recently finished up work on the new blues CD with
Uncle Willie K called Warehouse Blues.
Kris
Thomas has
been stunning audiences with his mastery of contemporary
drumming styles such as funk, rock, reggae, worldbeat,
and salsa for over fifteen years. Some of his many
influences include Neil Peart, Alan White,
Tony Williams, Carter Beauford, Phil Collins, and
all the drummers with Santana.
