Kris Thomas stunned audiences with his mastery of contemporary drumming styles such as funk, rock, reggae, worldbeat, and salsa for almost 20 years with the legendary Hawaiian artist, Uncle Willie K, for over 18 years, and
for 14 years with the Celtic Tigers at Mulligan's on the blue.

Kris is a drummer/percussionist, engineer, and producer.
Majestic Music Productions, has recorded, mixed and mastered recordings for such artists as Willie Nelson, Pat Simmons Jr, Dave Mason, Steve Earle, John Cruz, Marty Dread, Jeff Hornbeck, Jimmy Dillon, Sweet Mama Dee, Rudy Ramirez, and many more…!
He also recorded and produced CDs for Cue Source Music.

From 2009 to 2013, Kris worked with legendary drummer, Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac.

Kris relocated to Maui in 1998, and he has been fortunate to perform with many talented musicians such as Pat Simmons and Michael McDonald of the Doobie Brothers, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, Prince, Alice Cooper, Steven Stills, Kris Kristofferson, Randy Travis, Dave Mason, Ross Valory of Journey, and performed many shows with Willie Nelson and The Planetary Bandits in Hawaii and Texas.

In college, Kris studied electronic music composition, video production / editing and percussion including Master classes with Danny Gottlieb of the Pat Metheny Group. Involvement with theatrical productions, performing for schools, and teaching drum lessons. He also composes intriguing musical soundscapes utilizing keyboard, flute, voice, effects, as well as acoustic, electronic, and world percussion. His pieces have been in video soundtracks and played on radio stations throughout the Pacific Northwest in the late 90s where he performed with The Haines/Kanter Project, Soringhart, Rob Tobias, The Shelley James Band, Flying colours, and played in jam sessions with master percussionist, Mingo Lewis.

Kris is currently working on a new solo CD of his own compositions plus new performances with Jimmy Dillon and John Cruz.
